“Me and My Shadow is a project that helps you explore and minimise your 'digital shadows': the information traces you leave behind when you use the internet and mobile phones. This multimedia website provides informational texts in different detail and complexity, short videos, educational material and great further resources. "My and My Shadow" is an archive version that was last updated in 2019. Despite the fact that it won't be renewed it still includes a large selection of useful content. In its “Alternative App Centre”, the website provides a structured collection of alternative privacy-sensitive online resources that can replace commonly used services (e.g. browsers, instant messenger apps etc.). Moreover, the tool offers learning material and fully planned lessons for trainers and teachers about topics such as “Data Brokers”, “Visualising Tracking in the Browser” or “What the Facebook”. Thus, this tool is particularly useful for teachers. However, the website is no longer being updated, so some information may be out of date. The project won a Deutsche Welle Bobs Award for "most creative" online activism in 2013.”

Diese multimediale Website bietet Informationstexte in unterschiedlicher Ausführlichkeit und Komplexität, kurze Videos, pädagogisches Material und großartige weitere Ressourcen. " My and My Shadow " ist eine Archivversion, die zuletzt im Jahr 2019 aktualisiert wurde. Trotz der Tatsache, dass sie nicht erneuert wird, enthält sie immer noch eine große Auswahl an nützlichen Inhalten. In ihrem "Alternative App Centre" bietet die Website eine strukturierte Sammlung alternativer datenschutzfreundlicher Online-Ressourcen, die häufig genutzte Dienste (z. B. Browser, Instant-Messenger-Apps usw.) ersetzen können. Darüber hinaus bietet das Tool Lernmaterial und vollständig geplante Unterrichtsstunden für Ausbilder und Lehrer zu Themen wie "Data Brokers", "Visualisierung von Tracking im Browser" oder "What the Facebook". Somit ist dieses Tool besonders für Lehrer nützlich. Allerdings wird die Website nicht mehr aktualisiert, so dass einige Informationen veraltet sein könnten.
