The project explores the question of what artificial intelligence, algorithms, and big data mean for individuals in their everyday lives. However, the functioning of these digital technologies usually remains a black box. There is a lack of information needed to make informed decisions. The project addresses the opportunities and risks of these technologies and illustrates the extent to which each and every individual is affected by them. To this end, it presents the everyday topics of “housing,” “shopping,” “health,” and “social life.”

Das Projekt geht der Frage nach, was Künstliche Intelligenz, Algorithmen und Big Data für den Alltag der Individuen bedeutet. Die Funktionsweise dieser digitalen Technologien bleibt aber meist eine Black Box. Es fehlen Informationen, um mündige Entscheidungen treffen zu können. Das Angebot greift Chancen und Risiken dieser Technologien auf und verdeutlicht, inwiefern jede und jeder Einzelne davon betroffen ist. Dazu werden die Alltags-Themen „Wohnen“, „Einkaufen“, „Gesundheit“ und „soziales Leben“ vorgestellt.
