Free Your Data is a political campaign that aims to educate about pervasive surveillance practices, the loss of individual data sovereignty and Big Data and to mobilise through a petition. A total of 16 episodes illustrate the connections between commercial surveillance and the political influence of a few technology corporations. The presentation of the petition is accompanied by a draft for the future of a free, digital society.

Free Your Data ist eine politische Kampagne, die über die allgegenwärtige Überwachungspraxis, den Verlust der individuellen Datenhoheit und Big Data aufklären und durch eine Petition mobilisieren will. Insgesamt 16 Episoden verdeutlichen die Zusammenhänge zwischen kommerzieller Überwachung und dem politischen Einfluss einiger weniger Technologie-Konzerne. Die Vorstellung der Petition wird begleitet von einem Zukunftsentwurf für eine freie, digitale Gesellschaft.
